5 weeks old!!

The puppies are 5 weeks old now. They have been playing and running and eating even more. They find Gandalf particularly interesting. They will follow him everywhere. We have been taking them outside a lot. They would be happy to stay out there all day. There's so much to do. So many things to sniff! Here are some new pictures of the puppies!!

Black tri male (fourth born):

He is so playful! He's always ready to pounce on something! He's usually comes when someone is talking to him. He loves people. We will charge $300 for him.

Blue merle female (fifth born):

She loves her daddy! She will follow him everywhere and try to do everything he does. She's one of the biggest girls. We originally thought she had too much white on her head, but it turns out she's just fine! We will charge $400 for her.

Black tri female (first born):

She is the smallest puppy. She was first born and by far has the prettiest face. All of us in the family love her so much. She has needed some special attention to make sure she gets enough food, but other than that she's super healthy. She's just as playful as the other puppies. She has been known to take the other puppies down. She may be small, but she is fierce! We're charging $300 for her.

Blue merle female (second born):

She is such a cutie! She is probably the best marked puppy of this litter. She has the perfect amount of white and copper on her. We love her because she is so easy to take care of. If there's such a thing as a laid back puppy, that's her. She is always the last one to start whining. She's the first one to the food. She's very lovable. We're charging $400 for her.

Black tri female (third born):

This puppy is so sweet. She's very cuddly and loves people. She is happy for you to hold her all day. She has a full collar, making her a very well marked dog. We are charging $300 for her.

Puppies think they're dogs.

WOW! The puppies have grown so much! They're almost 4 weeks old now and they are huge!!! They've been eating dry food. Alot of dry food. They're walking and playing and making HUGE messes. They're probably at their cutest stage of puppy hood right about now. We've had some people come to visit them already. We've had lots of visitors. The puppies seem to be really comfortable around people.

It turns out the puppy we thought might have too much white on her head is just fine. She's healthy and VERY beautiful. She has the prettiest face.

We have also decided on prices for the puppies. The 2 blue merles will be $400 each and the black tri colors will be $300 each.

Overall all of the puppies are healthy and they will hopefully make great pets.

There are FIVE!!

Wow! Spring just popped out another puppy! She's a blue merle. We now know that there are 4 females and only 1 male (a black tri). Spring has let all of the puppies nurse and they are doing very well.

Puppies are born!

The puppies were born today at 8:06 this morning, July 13, 2008! There are 4 puppies. There is one blue merle and the other 3 look like black tris or bis. Spring took care of her puppies really well. Her instincts kicked in and she knew exactly what to do. We are so excited to finally see those puppies!

The Puppies!

We took Spring to the vet, and confirmed that she's carrying puppies. The vet thinks there are 4. She is getting huge!! Today she couldn't even jump off of the couch without falling on her little face. She's been having some issues jumping up onto the bed too. Poor pregnant mama!

Spring the baby mama

Spring is my baby girl. She's a black tri-colored female and she absolutely loves people. She thinks anybody who will pay attention to her is the greatest person on earth. She's the princess brat of the universe. She is brilliant, and that sometimes gets her into trouble, but she loves everything about life and is a great dog.
